The Movement Disaster and Crisis Working Group (DCWG)

The Movement Disaster and Crisis Working Group (DCWG) is a group of experienced disaster managers from a range of National Societies, the Federation Secretariat, and the ICRC, who come together to promote the coordination and strengthening of our collective international disaster management.

The group meets to share disaster management learning and analysis, particularly through the lens of recent operational experience, and to advance disaster management approaches, ideas, and solutions related to operational coordination and delivery.

DCWG Annual Meeting 2025

Building on previous meetings in Stockholm (2024), Turin (2023), and Vienna (2022), the Mongolian Red Cross Society (MRCS) will host this year's DCWG Annual Meeting from 18-20 June 2025 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Venue

The meeting will be held at the Mongolian Red Cross Society building:

Address: The International Youth Training Center is located 68 km east of Ulaanbaatar city in Erdene soum of Tuv province. Set in 9 acres of beautiful land, the training center is just 7km from the largest horse-riding statue in the world, the Chinggis Khaan Statue, one of the most visited tourist attraction sites in Mongolia.
